This series, shot on 35 mm film from 2003, shows Italians as "spectators." They watch a soccer match, observe a parade in a medieval town, gaze at passersby, view art and look at mannequins in shop windows. And I, as a foreigner walking the streets with a camera, am also a spectator, watching the Italians' watch each other. And you, as viewer, join us in this spectacle.
